I work mainly as a street photographer, but I explore other types of photography as well. I chose the concept of absurdity for my work. This concept was aimed to blur the lines between reality and imagination. Also to describe the chaos that ensues in our brains. My work was influenced by the imp of preserve - the voice in our heads telling us to do something, even though it would be foolish.

I capture everyday environments embedded with unordinary scenarios taking place in that space. I used my apartment and roommates to produce this project. To create a dramatic and cinematic look to the images, I used dimmed lighting with a flash. I want people to be immersed in my photos. My photos are made to be questionable and make the viewer feel uncomfortable.

In today’s world, there is a normal way to walk down the street or to act in public but my work is about giving into the unordinary and irregular ways that something can occur. My exhibition is set up so my audience can engage and interact with my work while resisting normalcy in this space. My viewers will interact with each print differently, but in the end, returning to our normal ways of acting.
